The Author
Welcome! I’m EE Sharp, the author of Baron & Zombie. I’ve been writing since the turn of the millennium, and thanks to a childhood living in the woods, I’ve read many sci-fi and fantasy books. I’m educated in literary criticism and philosophy with an emphasis on breadth, including training in the philosophies of science, metaphysics, ethics, environmental ethics, language, and mind. Outside of formal training, I am an existentialist with a strong preference for the philosophies of Camus. I enjoy researching neat facts, reading, and admiring the beauty of our world.
In 2012, I started writing daily short stories of no importance, exercising my ability to finish projects consistently. This eventually morphed into a series of prose tag features on Tumblr, which gave me enough confidence to write this book. During its drafting period of nearly two hundred days, I posted excerpts to Tumblr, and editors repeatedly featured it, but algorithmic discovery was poor, so I had about 15 fans total.
As a gift to my past self, I decided that my first serialized story would be this novel. So I’ve edited it with a decade of experience, improved many scenes and action sequences, and placed it online for your enjoyment.
